Our Mission
To cultivate local connections through agricultural and business partnerships and to provide educational outreach that promotes conservation and fosters community.
The mission of Local 4 Life is built around a passion for education, conservation and community-building. As middle school Science teachers and local community activists, we are dedicated to education that is centered in supporting local farms. Through our work as professional educators we have enriched learning for students, families and the school community and are constantly inspired to broaden our reach beyond our classrooms. Partnering with local business and farm owners that share our vision, we recruited a diverse board of directors, advisors and volunteers that consist of farmers, educators, entrepreneurs and prominent community members. With the help of their expertise, skills and talents, Local 4 Life has hosted events, workshops and activities for all ages that have been centered in our four core values- Agricultural & Local Partnerships, Youth Education. Conservation of Resources, and Diversified Community Outreach. Our ever expanding connections, events and programs will further our mission and strengthen our values. We are excited for what the future holds for Local 4 Life and the resulting impact we will have in our local communities.
